The Motorcycle Safety Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1974. It is internationally recognized as the developer of the comprehensive, research-based, Rider Education and Training System (RETS).

 

It is dedicated to making motorcycling safer and more enjoyable by ensuring access to lifelong quality education and training for current and prospective riders, and by advocating a safer riding environment.

 

The organization is sponsored by BMW, BRP, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Piaggio/Vespa, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory and Yamaha.
